What in the world is going on? The Big 10 confernce, which has had 11 teams since 1990, will have 12 with the addition of Nebraska beginning next year and is looking to add more. The conference that is still known as the Big 12 is now down to 10 teams after losing Nebraska to us and Colorado to the PAC 10. And the PAC 10 is trying to get even more teams from the Big 12 which may cause that conference to dissolve completely. I hope some of the conferences will change their names after all the shuffling of teams has stopped. And the next few college football seasons should definitely be interesting.
Wait a moment please. So the Big 10 will have 12 teams, the Big 12 10 teams, or possibly even less all the way down to bye bye, and the Pac 10 some number more than 10 but not yet specified. God, it's no wonder I find everything about college football rules so confusing. LOL. Still, Shan's family are excited because they're all Nebraska fans and this shake up will apparently mean more Nebraska games being televised here in Illinois. Or so I'm told.

LOL Dan, that's why I hope some of these conferences change their names after all the moving around is done. The Big 10 has had 11 teams since 1990 when Penn State joined, and I thought we should have changed the name then.
Big 10 games usually do get a lot of TV air time, so yeah, Nebraska will get more coverage, both nationally and their in Illinois once they join.
